On Saturday we threw a HUGE carnival at the Timbutini CarePoint! We called it Fun Fest 2008. It started out as a fun day for the kids that attend the carepoint every day and the kids from my two first grade classes. Over 175 people came to enjoy the festivities! We had face painting, balloon animals, bobbing for apples, noodle necklaces, ring toss, sweet walk, a medical clinic, slip ‘n slide, and a jumping castle. There were age-appropriate teams, stations, music, and lots of smiles and laughter. After the station rotation we gathered under the big tree for the gospel presentation. We gave out hot dogs and popsicles for lunch. About 60 kids came from my class and it was so great to see them. They still called me teacher and asked if they could use the toilet like we were at school J It was a wonderful day because 175 children experienced the love and joy of the Lord.
