My love for Swaziland grows each week and my heart becomes more burdened for this place. I wanted to give you all some specific things that the Lord has placed on my heart to pray for Swaziland.
Ø Pray for the orphans and widows, the drunks, and the lonely. Pray that they would experience the Lord's presence in a new way. Pray that they would feel completely filled by the Lord and know that He is all they need.
Ø Pray that the stronghold of lust that keeps this country in bondage would be broken. Pray that men especially would recognize their addictive sin, come to the Lord in a state of humble repentance, and would experience the freedom that comes from Christ.
Ø Pray that more jobs would become available or be created for people to feel like they have value, a purpose, and something important to add to their family and communities.
Ø Pray that the church would be a place of refuge. Pray that the church would begin to challenge people in godliness and studying His Word. Pray that radical followers of Jesus would be raised up and they would be living to serve and bring glory to God.
Ø Pray for all of the teams and missionaries that are here in Swaziland. Pray that we would be following the Lord and working where He wants us to serve. Pray that we would be effective in everything we do and that the Lord would use us to the fullest during our time here.
Ø Finally, pray for my ministry and Mkhuzweni Primary School. Pray that the Lord would give me strength and patience as I work with His precious children every day. Pray that I would be able to show them the love that Christ has for them as I teach them.
I cannot express how much it means to have all of your prayers and support. I feel encouraged by each of you. Thank you for sharing this experience with me. I am having a wonderful time!
