It's hard to believe that
this
time has come to an
end. I'm in the
period of saying goodbye and it's one of the hardest things I've ever had to
do. I'm saying goodbye to riding kombis every day, saying "yebo" to everything,
eating ground nuts, responding to Thandeka, and (thankfully) avoiding marriage
proposals! But I'm also saying goodbye to dear friends, precious faces and
personalities of children, families that have become my own, and a country that
I have grown to love so much. Swaziland
has become part of who I am and it's difficult to say goodbye. We are leaving for South Africa
on Friday and will be there for a few days before flying out on May 14th.
As
always, I want to thank each of you- for reading my blogs, abundant prayers,
generous financial contributions and never-ending support. It has been a blessing
beyond my imagination!
This is a picture of me
with one of my Swazi families. We are wrapped up in a new blanket they just received
for Winter!
