We went to Atteridgeville again this week and visited with Francina, Alice and all our kids. On Monday we walked to an orphanage right outside of Atteridgeville. There are about 12 children staying there and most of them are school-aged. We didn't get to see many of the kids but it was good to encourage the lady who's heart is dedicated to raising the children. Our times with Francina are going really well and she's asking questions that are stretching me:) Alice is such a sweet lady that we've also been able to visit with. She's a strong woman of the Lord but her husband is against her going to church. We've been able to spend time in prayer with her and she's seeing the Lord move in her husband's heart.ย God moves in incredible ways and it's a privilege to be able to share in what He is doing. It humbles my heart that He would allow me to be part of His plan and working with His people. Tomorrow we are doing a youth program at the church in Atteridgeville and we will go to the church service there on Sunday morning. A small group of us went this past Sunday morning and it was awesome. The presence of the Lord is so evident under the big blue and white tent they meet under. The entire church, including some of the older children, fasted for an entire week and they ended their fast with communion on Sunday. It was an honor to be able to share that with them. Anyway, we will go to the same church again this Sunday!
Our big team will split into our separate teams, going to Swaziland or Kenya this coming week. Please pray for my teammates as we make our decisions regarding where will be serving in January. Pray also for Francina, Alice and our precious children because this is the last week we will be with them. We hope to throw a party for the kids sometime this week. I love you all:)
